- Led a yoga and mindfulness workshop as part of a student council initiative for school-wide health and wellness. 
January 2014 - June 2014: Costa Rica alternative practicum placement
- Enrolled in a 5-month Spanish language course and acquired basic proficiency. 
- Taught English as an Additional Language (EAL) courses in a public school (grades 7-12), private school (grades 4, 9, 10, 11, 12), and adult evening courses (ages 16-30). 
- Co-taught EAL lessons. Team taught (triad) environmental lessons conducted in Spanish. 
- As a team of 3, developed and delivered 2-hour workshops (in Spanish) on environmental awareness and sustainability using cooperative, experiential and outdoor learning models.

YMCA Alternative Suspension - Secondary Youth Worker
