Mr Dupont is an inspiring teacher with the perfect balance between fun and strictness. Personally, before he arrived to my school the lesson that he taught was never my preferred subject, but once he had joined he found a way to make every single lesson engaging and fun despite every students initial thought of the topic.

My main memory of my time spent with Mr Dupont was the American Football after-school club that he ran, I never understood the sport until he explained it all to me, and now every year I watch the Super Bowl in my room and it reminds me of the times I learnt American-Football from him.

He will always be the most charismatic and enthusiastic in the room and he spreads that across to everybody around him. Every time I walked into his classroom he would greet me with a smile and a nice talk before I completed the fun starter activity that was always at the front of his class.

He always has a special connection to every student he can. He was always very approachable to the point where you would feel very comfortable asking him for help or guidance. I never had a bad experience in his class and I strongly doubt anybody has. To this day he is one of the best teachers I have ever had.

Mr. Dupont is truly an exceptional teacher who has made a profound impact on my life. As my English teacher at Maple Leaf, he not only taught me valuable lessons in language and literature but also showed me what it means to be a kind and compassionate human being. His outgoing nature and passion for travel and yoga added an extra layer of depth to his character, which made him all the more inspiring. It was always so much fun to listen to his stories about the trips he had been on. Mr. Dupont’s positive energy was contagious, and his constant smile and willingness to help made me feel supported and encouraged, even during the most challenging times. Whenever I needed help, he was always there to support me. He always used his words to uplift and encourage me, and his guidance and support helped me to overcome some of the toughest obstacles in my life. I will always be grateful to Mr. Dupont for his unwavering kindness and for being such an incredible role model.

First of all, I really appreciate your patience. In all my assignments, I always write a lot more than the required number of words. I felt your patience the most during the family project in English 11 and the creation story in English 12, and you spent a lot of time helping me change my writing. It was a huge task, and I am grateful that we did some wonderful work together. On top of that, you wrote a lot of responses to me on my journal, and I always appreciated your seriousness. Of all the teachers I know, you are the only one who does this, and the feedback and responses have shown me how much you love your profession as a teacher.

This is the second characteristic that I sense in you. This love is not only for the teaching profession, but your love for life often amazes me as well. You come to class in great shape to teach and talk to us, and I remember you rarely showing fatigue. You were also active in preparing for many school events and were happy to participate in them. I think this reduced a lot of the distance between us and made me think that we had a very good teacher-student relationship! I also feel your preparation for each class, your choice of videos, your choice of web sites for citation, and the spelling test that we are constantly updating for this semester's literary course. These make me feel that you have carefully set up your class and unconsciously make me want to take your class or your assignments more seriously.

In fact, there are many other parts of you that I would like to praise, both in life and in academics, you take every project very seriously and responsibly. In my perception of a teacher, you are perfect! And I make no secret of the fact that you are the most dedicated and passionate teacher I have ever met about the profession and about your students. Even though I will be graduating soon, I still hope you will keep your love for teaching and teach more students in the future.

I hope that these sincere compliments will help you find a more enjoyable way to teach.

I wish you all the best!
